Terms of use — RUNESIS Coéquipier

1. The app

RUNESIS Coéquipier is a race companion: it follows your progress on a course you import and gives you cues during the effort. It is published by Guillaume Lioni, sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel) trading as RUNESIS, 2 impasse la Baute, 31600 Labastidette, France, SIREN 853 782 118. Contact: g.lioni@runesis.fr.

2. Your account

A RUNESIS account is required to use the app. It is the same account as for RUNESIS Training and RUNESIS Nutrition. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You can delete your account at any time from the app: it is then deleted for all three apps.

3. Safety first

The app's cues depend on GPS and on the course you provide: they may be inaccurate or unavailable. They do not replace official course markings, your own judgment or the organisers' instructions. Stay aware of your surroundings.

Fueling and hydration guidance is indicative and is not medical advice. RUNESIS Coéquipier is not a medical device. If in doubt about your health, see a professional.

4. What is free and what is paid

Free with a RUNESIS account: guided training runs and one first full race in race mode (one per account).
Race pass: a one-time purchase that opens full race mode for one race. A purchased pass stays on your account until you use it; it is used when you start a race in race mode. Restarting the same race does not use a new pass.
Coéquipier Only: a subscription that opens all your races in RUNESIS Coéquipier.
RUNESIS+: a subscription that opens RUNESIS Training, RUNESIS Nutrition and RUNESIS Coéquipier.

Prices are shown in the app before purchase, in your currency.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Payment: charged to your Apple or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. RUNESIS never has access to your bank details.
Automatic renewal: a subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: at any time, in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on iPhone, or Google Play › Subscriptions on Android. You keep access until the end of the period already paid.
Free trial: if a trial is offered, its length is shown before purchase; unless you cancel before it ends, the paid subscription starts automatically.
Refunds: requests are handled by Apple or Google Play under their own rules. A started period is not refunded pro rata.
Price changes: you are notified in advance by Apple or Google Play and can cancel before the change applies.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription: cancel it in the store first.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app for your personal use, without trying to disrupt it or to access other users' data.

7. Availability

The app is provided as is. We do our best to keep it working but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, especially for services that depend on the network (account, weather).

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of an incorrect or unavailable cue during a race, nor for indirect damage related to the use of the app.

10. Apps downloaded from the App Store

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

11. Changes

These terms may change. In case of a significant change, you will be informed in the app.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution is sought first: write to g.lioni@runesis.fr.

If you are a consumer and your written complaint is not resolved, you can refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France – www.cm2c.net, within one year of your complaint.
